Belt loop to PALs adapter – prototype

More than six years ago I posted a concept, so now look at the modified version. Previous design allowed to attach narrow pouches with distance between outer sides of loops nearly 8 cm. Current design is built around pouches with outer sides of loops as distant as 12 cm.

So, we’ll need an adapter and three MALICE clips. First clip is inserted into central channel of adapter, and attached to modular surface.

Pouch with two belt loops is connected to surface with two adapter’s wings, both of them are inserted into loops. For the best visibility, example is made with loop only. After inserting the wings, side PALs loops are tucked around and below the belt loops to the surface, and connected with surface via second and third MALICE clip. I have only one clip on hand, so use your imagination.

Somebody can assume that it will be better to put three loops on the wings, but it will not add much to the stability, because pouch’s weight lays on the PALs cells on surface.
